Description: The Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) serves all of Washington State and is a federally funded program that works to provide free resources, information and training for parents, youth and other professionals to understand and navigate the special education system. PTI resource coordinators live and work all over Washington state to offer: training via articles, video, or on-demand and in-person workshops. One-to-one assistance (technical assistance/TA) to navigate early intervention, special education, general education, post-secondary and other related systems in Washington State. This includes coaching, support, and mentoring to further support the understanding of your rights and responsibilities in the special education system. (Located on the Tacoma Community College Campus in parking lot “I” as you enter from 12th Street; opposite side of the campus from TACID.)
