Description: Provides professional services and technology to people of all ages who experience hearing loss, speech and language impairment, or who are deaf, to achieve personal, educational, and vocational goals. Also promotes community awareness and accessibility. The services include: early intervention and support for families with deaf and hard of hearing children; information and referral; information and training on technology such as assistive listening devices and accessible devices; assistive listening devices loan program; case management and advocacy services for deaf and hard of hearing and their family; consultations & assessment on making the workplace accessible; and community education on topics relating to diversity, hearing loss and technology.
